Caps, Crowns and Bridges

The crown is able to provide a protective shell around the damaged or decayed tooth to strengthen it.

§ Procedure

In the practice's own words.

How it's Done

A crown becomes necessary when tooth decay or damage exceeds what fillings can address. The procedure involves reshaping the tooth and creating impressions for laboratory fabrication.

The dentist reduces tooth size to accommodate proper crown fit, then takes a special impression sent to the lab for permanent creation. During the initial appointment, patients receive a temporary crown. Upon return, the temporary is removed and replaced with the permanent crown after verifying fit and color matching.

These crown-milling machines produce inferior crowns that simply do not have the same longevity.

We avoid same-day crown-milling machines. Our hand-crafted crowns, built from premium laboratory materials, typically last 25+ years — compared to 5-10 years for milled alternatives.

Bridges

Bridges address gaps created by missing teeth, preventing shifting and bite changes. The restoration uses adjacent teeth as anchors with a 'bridging' pontic tooth filling the space — functioning like a natural tooth and serving as an implant alternative.

§ The practice's promise

Impeccable quality, great service. Treatment decisions come from the dentist-owner — not corporate management focused on margins.
